I had such an great maternity photo shoot tonight with Kalina and AJ. It was a fun combination of a casual and a styled session. I love both styles for very different reasons. Kalina just looks amazing. And I have a feeling that these two will be wonderful parents. I can’t wait to meet their little one in a few weeks!

Here is a little before and after that I wanted to share.

While the maternity session was almost perfect (absolutely stunning mom-to-be, perfect location, great weather) and I absolutely loved how the session turned out, it was actually a bit too bright for the images I had in mind. There was not a single cloud on the horizon, but I really wanted there to be some dramatic sky. I found some inspiration, some overlays, a fantastic tutorial and here is the result (and the before). While I really liked the before, I absolutely LOVE the after.
