I got to meet Wyatt today, the newest addition of the Baker clan. I had photographed this sweet family last year when their older son Henry had just turned one. It means so much to me when my clients come back to me and it is so special to me to see their family grow! Henry had grown so much and was your typical older sibling (still adjusting towards his new role as big brother), but so much fun to work with. The photo where he kisses his younger brother simply melts my heart!

Towards the end of Wyatt’s newborn session, Cierra pointed out this giant pumpkin that she had just carved so baby could sit it it for some pictures. I wasn’t sure if that was even going to work, but it did and I totally love this picture. Wyatt lounging in a pumpkin. He looks pretty comfortable!

Sierra had contacted me on a short notice if I was had time to photograph her new baby Abe and she included a picture of him. How could I say no after seeing this beautiful chunky boy! So I drove all the way out to Hood River for his newborn pictures and I love how they turned out! The image of daddy holding him in his hands is one of my absolute favorites!

I had taken Mary’s maternity photos and was so excited to photograph her two little boys! It amazed me so much to see how different these two brothers are. Not only did they look much different to one another, but they also behaved in opposite ways. One was so much sleepier, while the other was so much more alert, but also showed us more smiles during the session. And they for sure loved to snuggle with one another. That was the cutest part about it all! I feel so honored that I was able to capture them during their first weeks of life!

It was quite a challenge to recreate my own images, but I tried getting the same poses for both boys….

It is not to early to start posting super cute Christmas pictures. Especially since we started baking Christmas cookies and making ornaments in my house about two weeks ago wink emoticon

I got to snuggle a little newborn this morning! I hadn’t photographed a baby girl in a while, so I was even more excited about this session. I also got to play with her big brother, who was very proud to show me all his toys. Such a sweet family!

Here is a complete preview my latest newborn session. Such a handsome little boy! His dad coaches basketball and I bet he can’t wait to throw some hoops with his little boy…. Mom simply looks gorgeous and that only a few days after giving birth! His aunt was visiting over Labor Day weekend not only was she a great assistant during the session, but I also talked her into having a photo taken with her little nephew – so glad I did! All in all a perfect newborn session.

Here is a preview from Dylan’s session. He is such a cutie and was very sleepy and content. The last time I saw his big brother Owen was for fall pictures last year and I could not believe how much he had grown and how talkative he has become! He was so good with his little brother and I am sure that he will be an amazing big brother!

I had taken Kalina’s maternity photos and it was great to meet their baby Konnor! Konnor probably did not share my excitement. He made me work real hard to capture his newborn portraits. But it was well worth it. I love how his pictures turned out and I was so happy when I caught him smile! And Kalina and AJ are such amazing parents. If I didn’t know that Konner is their first child, I would think they already had a bunch of kids. They were so confident and relaxed!

We will be going on a trip for a few weeks. I won’t be sharing photos on this page for a while, but here’s one from this weekend. Too cute not to share!

I had met Erin and big brother Cameron through a mutual friend before. Yesterday, I was invited to their home for newborn and family pictures. The family’s newest addition Caleb is such a cutie and it was wonderful to feel all the love in their home. Erin and Josh are wonderful parents and I really enjoyed taking their photos!

It was pouring here in Portland this past weekend. But I got to stay inside and snuggle with baby Sydney for her newborn pictures. She is so adorable – just like her big sister. I have to say though, she made me work hard for her photos. But it was absolutely worth it! They turned out so great!

I came to the Pearson’s home when baby Raylie was only 5 days old. I could not believe her hair! Super cute… I was so excited about Raylie’s hair and cuteness in general, I did not want to stop taking pictures! Raylie’s brother was not as excited and did not want to be in the picture with just the baby at first, but then he agreed to a photo where he was not holding her. Just when he was standing close to her, Raylie smiled and big brother Ryder looked at her in curiosity. I absolutely love this image of the two of them and I’m really glad that Ryder changed his mind and agreed to a photo after all…. And of course, when grandma came over, I took a few photos of her and the baby, too.

I had such a great time today during Olivia’s newborn session. She did so great and was very sleepy and content during her session. Big brother Benjamin wasn’t really into being photographed at first, but that changed quickly once we got outside to the park. Summer Lake Park was just across the street from the Pierces and I love how the family photos in the park turned out. What a lovely family!

I met Molly and her family for fall photos just a couple of weeks ago when Molly was expecting her third child. Her two older kids were so much fun to photograph and so comfortable in front of the camera that I immediately had some ideas of newborn and family photos once their new baby had arrived. Today I finally got to photograph this family including their newest addition baby Ryder in my studio… I absolutely love how their photos turned out!! So lucky I got to capture this absolutely adorable smile of baby Ryder today! Such a beautiful family and those kids are certainly most adorable!

I had heard about Sherwood Lavender Farm and called to ask if I could take maternity photos in the lavender fields in July. This spot is a little peace of heaven and was just perfect for my photo shoot. The photos are some of my absolute favorites! I then found out that Erika from Sherwood Lavender Farm was expecting twins and I just had to ask her if I could photograph them once they arrived. So glad she said yes! I got to photograph them today and it was so worth the wait. Here is a preview of Lily and Liam with their family. Such a beautiful family and the twins are so lucky to have Sophia as an awesome big sister. During our photo shoot she proofed that she has infinite amounts of patience – just what these two little darlings need

Emily and Jordan invited me to their home for a newborn session. Peyton was just a little over a week old and very content during her photo shoot. Emily had some cute props ready and her parents also joined us at the end of the session. What a fun session with a little princess! When editing her photos I had to add some Christmas lights to the images of Peyton in the Christmas bucket. This looks like a perfect Christmas card to me…

I had met Ashley for a maternity session and was super excited about meeting her little one yesterday! Baby Benjamin was beyond adorable and so much fun to photograph! Ben’s grandfather also joined for a few shots and the family’s new home made the perfect backdrop for the photo session of this beautiful family!

I got to meet this beautiful little girl yesterday. Miss Ferne was born about six weeks ago and wide awake for parts of her session showing her very gorgeous eyes! Daddy rocked and soothed her to sleep for a while and she was sleeping in a wooden cradle that her great uncle made with a blanket that her great grandmother made. So special! Her parents did such a great job keeping her happy and content the entire time! Little Miss Ferne needed a few breaks to eat and snuggle and it’s easy to see how excited this little peanut is about her snuggle time with mommy and daddy! Such a beautiful and loving family!

I had the great honor to meet Benjamin for his newborn shots. He is such a cutie and did awesome during his session. We got some super cute images of him sleeping, and also some great shots with his parents. I love the black and white images of him in his daddy’s hands!

Rowan was just born 9 days ago. But somehow, his expressions were more mature than of a newborn. And he had so much hair. This one is definitely growing up to fast already! His parents were very comfortable with him and did a great job keeping him content and happy during our session.

I took Halsey’s maternity pictures a few weeks ago and today I had the great honor to meet baby Madison in my studio. She is such a cute little princess and wanted to snuggle with mommy most of the time. There were only a few moments where she would let me take photos and I just love how these pictures turned out! At the end of our session, we went outside to take some mommy and baby shots. Isn’t her mommy beautiful, too – inside and out!

Mr Kaden visited me today and we took photos in our backyard and in my studio. He is such a cutie and I just love his little dimple! He was very content during his entire session and when we went outside, he really enjoyed snuggling with his beautiful mommy!

Alice came to the studio today and slept through her entire session. I got so many amazing images of her! What a cute little nugget, just 10 days old. Here are a few of my favorites from the session. Isn’t she lovely!

I already took maternity pictures of Leah of few weeks ago. Today she came by with her little girl to shoot some photos in my new studio. Sweet little girl Eliza Frances was born about three weeks ago and really just wanted to cuddle with her mommy. We still got some super cute images of this little princess!
