Taylour and Scot had their maternity session at Mt. Tabor. It’s such a place of serenity and tranquillity and was a perfect location for the photo shoot. Their dog Cooper joined us for a couple of images. He’s such a good nature and their daughter will have much fun playing with him!

Jacque and Brian chose to have their maternity session at the Oregon Garden, where they got married exactly two years ago. I couldn’t think of a better location! Special thanks for to Brian for being such a good sport during the session. I suggested to photograph during the golden hour and wasn’t aware that the Ducks were having a game at the time… I love how the photos turned out. Jacque has the most amazing eyes and I can’t wait to meet their little daughter in a few weeks.

I met this sweet family at one of my favorite photo locations for a maternity session. The skies were all clear and it was a beautiful evening after we have had a few days of bad air from the fires. Kayla is due in a only a few weeks and it was clear that Ellie is very excited about the arrival of the new baby. She will be a very sweet big sister!

I know this lady from the Beaverton FitClub that I go to and was very excited when she asked me to take her maternity photos. I can’t wait to meet her little ONES in a few weeks! Yes right, she’s expecting twins! Here is a preview from her fun maternity session at George Rogers Park.

I had such an great maternity photo shoot tonight with Kalina and AJ. It was a fun combination of a casual and a styled session. I love both styles for very different reasons. Kalina just looks amazing. And I have a feeling that these two will be wonderful parents. I can’t wait to meet their little one in a few weeks!

Here is a little before and after that I wanted to share.

While the maternity session was almost perfect (absolutely stunning mom-to-be, perfect location, great weather) and I absolutely loved how the session turned out, it was actually a bit too bright for the images I had in mind. There was not a single cloud on the horizon, but I really wanted there to be some dramatic sky. I found some inspiration, some overlays, a fantastic tutorial and here is the result (and the before). While I really liked the before, I absolutely LOVE the after.

I was so excited when Ashley agreed to a maternity session where I bring the dresses. She did say, it wasn’t her cup of tea, but nobody will doubt that she looks absolutely breathtaking! I just love everything about these photos! Such a beautiful mama – inside and out!

This gorgeous mamma came over to try on some dresses for her photo shoot in two weeks and of course I couldn’t help it but take some photos already…. Isn’t she stunning!?! I am so excited about her outdoor photo shoot to come up soon! And to meet her sweet little girl in just a few weeks!

Jenny lives right across the street from us and is expecting a baby in just a few weeks. I came across a great location with high grass – perfect for maternity images. So I convinced this beautiful mommy-to-be to join me for a photo shoot just when the sun was setting to capture her belly in the soft evening light. Her son Theo is beyond adorable and will be a great big brother. I can’t wait to meet Jenny’s baby girl in a few weeks!

I got to meet Ashley for a maternity session. I absolutely love everything about these photos! Such a beautiful mommy-to-be! She is simply stunning! Maybe it’s the glow of an expectant mother, the joy and anticipation. The light was perfect in the evenings and our location made the photo shoot even more fun! I can’t wait to meet her little one in a couple of weeks.

This beautiful lady visited me at my house and I photographed her in my studio and yard. Anna Marie had some cute ideas on props that she brought and wanted to include. Being 32 weeks pregnant she was very comfortable and we got some super fun poses and images. I absolutely LOVE how her maternity pictures turned out. The black and white edits with the dramatic lighting are some of my favorite maternity images! Such a beautiful mommy-to-be with a little princess growing inside of her! Absolutely stunning!

I had the great honor to meet Halsey today for a maternity session. We took some photos at the Columbia River and at her home in St. Helens. I love her belly, she’s at 39 weeks already! What a beautiful mommy! I can’t wait to meet baby Madison in less than two weeks for our newborn session!

I was so excited when I got to capture my friends during one of the most exciting times of their lives! My friends Aimee and Preston together with their son Dashiell were expecting a baby boy! I also have two boys and Aimee’s and Preston’s boys are both the same age and in the same group at their school. I can’t wait to see our little ones play together.
